The shop doubles as the new office space for the Business Association of the South Wedge Area (BASWA), a 501c6 non-profit organization committed to the revitalization of the South Wedge area. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise at the Swedge Shop will go to BASWA to help them achieve their mission through marketing and promotion of the area, public art and cultural events, streetscape enhancements and beautification. No such cup could be found where they lived. So they launched a coffee company in St. Louis, Mo., with one simple, crazy goal: to make the best cup of coffee ever to cross their lips. And share this experience of a sumptuously arousing roast with their community.

In true DIY style, they hand-built and fired up a fancy computer-aided, fluid-bed roaster. They sourced their beans and began to program it with coffee “profiles” to toast to precise perfection. Every single time.
